Abstract

PCB heatbed is one of major parts of a 3d printer which are widely used in industrial area to represent the any project in a 3D structure. And people use it to heat the element which is used to prepare the object in 3D shape.

1.Aluminum PCB heatbed

PCB heatbed we see in the market from last few year uses aluminum plate form of PCB heatbed. In this technique putting electronics heat on to aluminum plate using high power L.E.D producing a lot of light causes a lot of heat. It is a quite nice technology for use because it has a solid platform of aluminum. Another advantage is that it heats up quite quickly.While the only loss in the system is the dissipated heat across the heat bed are mostly operated on 12 or 24 volt system. They come in different dimensions and available in different shapes too.

 

2.Fiber glass PCB heatbed

The other type of commonly use of  heat bed are one which are made of fiber glass material FO4. Because FO4 is high temperature material which can sustain the temperature around 120 to 140 degree centigrade temperature. FO5 material having a more wide temperature range but it is not commonly used in heatbed.

3.Paper Laminated HeatBed

Some other materials like FO2 which are used as heat bed have paper lamination on their surfaces. And compressing a paper with a coper surface and paper on top of it forms such kind of heatbed. F04 is has a shiny fiber glass having a back with a coper surface. On the exposed side of coper surface, electronics ceramic heater track are made.But these ceramic heaters provide heating to the surface of the heatbed.
